The Entrepreneurial Savant

Several years ago, while going through my first start-up, a recording studio called Cylinder Sound, I started collecting and writing notes on the experience. Those notes expanded into a manuscript called The Entrepreneurial Savant. However my interests changed and the world changed, as it tends to, and the manuscript languished, moving from one Mac upgrade to another unread.

Ten years later while upgrading to me current MacBook Pro, I found the book and wondered how antiquated it would sound having been largely written during the very early stages of the Internet. I found that most of the hundred passages it contains remain relevant, however these days I have little interest in writing books. So I’m reviving it as a blog, tempered by my very different perspective as the founder of multiple businesses, a web marketing guy and as a partner in a new venture, Supernatural Agency.

I hope whomever finds it enjoys it and feels welcome to join the discussion.

BTW, here’s the Wikipedia definition of savant.

And yes, I’m aware that ‘entrepreneurial’ may not be a real word!
